If you're looking for someone to design your book cover and/or the interior of your book, you've come to the right place. Before I discovered Christine, the Book Whisperer on Open Book Designs, I had the unfortunate experience of working with another so-called book designer. Let's just say the experience was horrendous.

If there were six stars available to rate Christine, The Book Cover Whisperer of Open Book Design LLC, I certainly would do so.  I selected Christine right away after reading her impressive resume and success story.  She never disappointed me with her creative design and timely response to my questions. After giving her an idea of what I was looking for in matching the cover image with "Tailgate," a novella in sports fiction which examines the state of college football, she delivered.  When she sent the first proof, there was no reason for a second.  The "wow" factor was met, and perfectly aligned with the story, her images supporting and conveying the desired tone and "feel" the book needed.

Christie is amazing.  I've worked with her four times so far with cover designs, most recently the forthcoming Jingled.  She is as committed to her craft as she is to making sure her clients are completely satisfied.  People do judge books by their covers, so I'd recommend having the best cover possible. My hat’s off to the Book Cover Whisperer!  This was the first book I published, and she took great care of me all along the way.  Her cover design was so eye-appealing; I loved it.  She has the aesthetic sense of a great artist when it comes to layout, color schemes, and typography. She even took my wording on the back cover and revised it to create a better sales pitch for my book.  She also did a fantastic job formatting the interior text.  Everything was done to perfection.  How do I know?  Uploading the files to the publisher went without a hitch.  No need to edit the proof of the book, either.
