The Buffalo Butcher
Robert Brighton
Hi, Robert & Laura,
I’m excited to show you a gorgeous cover that would stand out on any retailer display table. Can you say drama! Yet tasteful. I really wanted to honor the time period as barely turning the century mark so I kept the title font modest. The color scheme is period-ish but still has pops of color. It’s masculine/feminine balanced. Contains tons of eye candy. The woman is beautiful but classically so rather than modern. She also has a looseness about her, if you know what I mean! Lucky to find her. Please scroll down for more design analysis and full cover images.
Design Analysis
The background building and ghosted images on flaps are legit and also bring a sense of modernity on display at the Expo. Robert, do you have an author photos that isn’t etched? You probably want subtitle lower but I wanted you to see it there. No cheesy gore. Tasteful hint of the horror of a JTR in the city. Please scroll down for enlarged cover view.
Please Note: Any imperfections will be corrected upon design approval. Colors will render according to individual computer monitor settings. Print and digital are two different mediums. Please order a hard copy from the printer to review for color/tone adjustments. For example, gloss covers tend to print darker than matte.
